OpenFrame v1.6.0 introduces reshaping the dashboard so technicians start their work from Mingo instead of navigating to it. Billing is now live for all customers, Microsoft Publisher verification removes the unverified-app warning, and remote sessions get a new auto-hide toolbar for windowed mode. We've also removed the automatic Fae launch on first install to reduce end-user confusion during rollouts.
Features Added1
Mingo is now the front door of OpenFrame - technicians start from Mingo and reach the rest of the product in one click, instead of the other way around.
Bugs Fixed10
Fae portal failed to load technician-created tickets
Fixed an error where tickets created by technicians on behalf of clients showed a 'Failed to load ticket details' toast in the Fae client portal.
Fae message text rendered outside message bubble
Fixed a display bug where Fae chat messages appeared outside their intended message bubble.
'Disk is almost full' falsely triggered on optical drives
Fixed the disk space insight incorrectly flagging mounted ISOs and optical drives, which always report 0 bytes free, as critically low on space.
Device status sorting was incorrect in devices API
Fixed sorting so device statuses follow a defined logical order instead of alphabetical, ensuring Online devices appear before Pending deletion.
Mingo couldn't read software inventory for offline devices
Mingo now reads the last known software inventory for a device even when it is currently offline, helping with device replacement scenarios.
Mingo osquery schema search failed to download catalog
Fixed a failure introduced by the Spring Boot upgrade that blocked downloading the osquery release schema catalog due to a line-length limit.
Software schedules rejected entirely over one bad device
Fixed software schedules and bundles failing for all devices when just one target reported a missing or unknown package manager.
Fleet stopped working on Macs after osquery update
Fixed osqueryd being overwritten and killed in place after an osquery update, which caused Fleet to go offline on affected Macs.
Mingo command approvals bypassed Policy Evaluator
Fixed the approval flow so Mingo-issued commands routed through the Policy Evaluator correctly require approval before execution.
Client tool connections file corruption with no recovery
Fixed an issue where a corrupted local tool connections file on Windows devices caused repeated save failures with no automatic recovery.
Improvements8
Microsoft Publisher verification for M365 app
The M365 app is now verified by Microsoft, removing the 'unverified' warning previously shown on the consent screen.
Billing is now live
Billing functionality has launched and is now available for use.
Auto-hide toolbar for windowed remote sessions
The remote session toolbar can now auto-hide on idle in standard windowed mode, not just fullscreen, freeing up screen space on smaller displays.
Removed automatic Fae launch on first install
Fae no longer opens itself with a full-screen introduction after first installation, reducing confusion for end users who haven't been introduced to it yet.
Device logs filterable by customer via organization ID
Added organization ID to device logs and enabled filtering the device logs API directly by customer instead of relying on a capped machine ID list.
Start-minimized option for desktop client
Added a configurable option to start the desktop client minimized or hidden on startup, supported on Windows and macOS.
Mingo context now includes current user identity
Mingo's context now includes the current user's id, name, and email for more personalized responses.
TikTok added as a social media integration
TikTok is now supported alongside Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Facebook/Instagram across social accounts, campaigns, and token refresh logic.
